Marriage Celebrant Wedding Celebrant Civil Celebrants Australia | Celebrante Australia

Some profiles work, some don't. So what makes the difference between a profile that works and one that doesn't?

Keep in mind that the people searching on this site are looking for someone to connect with. Whether they need you for a wedding or a funeral, they need to feel that you are the right celebrant for them.

The first thing they're going to do is search for you using their preferred parameters. You are then listed in the search results with your photo and your introductory text. For them to want to click on you, you're going to have to have a photo that shows you and not a general photo of a ceremony you have performed as well as text that gives an indication of your values and style as a celebrant. Not much, but enough of a taste that encourages them to explore further.

From there, your profile will not only list all of your responses to ceremony types and so on, but it will feature you main text which has to lead them directly to complete the email form at the bottom of the page.

Here's where your writing skills, those same skills you use for designing a service, come into play.

Again the text needs to give the reader an understanding of you as a person and as a celebrant. Why did you become a celebrant? What pleasure do you derive from performing the ceremonies? How can you help them make their day special?

Give as much information as you can within approximately 200 to 250 words. If you have a website, what did you write for your About Me page? This text could fit in here nicely. But don't refer them to your website. They don't have time - they're here looking at your Celebrante profile and the profiles of competing celebrants. Get them to send you an enquiry NOW and then you can direct them to your website if you need to. There are over 150 celebrants competing with you and you need to grab their attention and their enquiry while they're at Celebrante and not hope that they'll spend their valuable time reviewing everyone's individual website. (Remember, we set this site up because we found the old ways so time consuming!)

Finally, once the enquiry does come through, do something about it today! While many of our enquirers have sent just one enquiry, many send two or more and customer behaviour being what it is they will often go with the first celebrant that contacts them assuming that there is some level of "fit" with their expectations.

So check your emails regularly and if you can't access them, login into the site and click on View Enquiries at the top right of the screen.
