As our second full month starts we've already passed 860 enquiries with 135 just in June! To celebrate, we've put together some statistics on the results that the site has brought up until May 31 as well as a whole bunch of other news in our newest feature, a downloadable newsletter.

Well we've now passed the 600 enquiry point so congratulations to all those celebrants whose profiles helped us get there. To those celebrants who have't had any enquiries as yet, please have a look at your profile text to see if it needs re-wording, that's if you have any wording at all, and if you haven't got a photo up yet, please do so - it will make a difference.

Thank you also to all of you who passed on your congratulations to Angie and I for our forthcoming addition to the family. The baby, as far as we can be sure, is due mid December.

Hi to anyone who has been trying to send mail to info@celebrante.com.au. It appears that those emails have been stuck on our server and we've just discovered them this morning(!) My sincere apologies to anyone who has been waiting for a reply. With so many emails coming in to our other email addresses (we've had days when we've received over 100 emails) we just didn't notice that info hadn't been downloading. As soon as I get home from work tonight, I promise I will answer each one of those emails and make sure that the emails download properly from here on.

In happier news, we've now received over 200 enquiries and with the campaigns we're working on throughout May, we're hopeful we can increase the enquiry rate exponentially!

We've now added a range of new locations to sort by with a total of 90 areas around the country. As a celebrant, please make sure that you have selected all of  those that are relevant to you. If you need more than the 10 standard areas, particularly those based in the Greater Sydney area, please email us and we'll add up to four extra areas for you.

We've also added "Advice on your profile" and "Selecting a celebrant" pages in the About Us section.

Good morning!

In just 4 days we've passed the 150 mark and our enquiries have grown to 48 with a ratio of 1.54 enquiries per potential customer. It's working!

The advertising and marketing campaigns will start to kick in throughout May and everyone should start getting enquiries, if you haven't already, very soon.

But you need to make sure that your profiles are complete - a good photo and a good description are essential to maximising your enquiry rate.

If you need any help with your profile, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Well, we've now passed 130 celebrants and we've got people in almost every part of the country.

Launch to the public is tentatively set for May 1 but we've already received 10 enquiries! The best part is that these 10 enquiries came from 9 people - that's right, almost everyone has sent just one enquiry to one celebrant and not the dozen you would've expected.

We've also now started our Google AdWords campaign and we're appearing at Number One on the right hand side Sponsored Links section on most celebrant-related searches. As our developers work on our Search Engine Optimisation, we should start climbing the charts on the left hand side too!

Hi Everyone

Well, great news. We've passed the 100 celebrants milestone!

This means we're well on track to start our launch to the public by the end of the month as we're almost at "critical mass".

Well, I may have spoken too soon!

As you may be aware, we have been having considerable difficulties with the web hosting changes but, fingers crossed, they seem to have been fixed. (Let's hope that statement doesn't tempt fate!)

For those celebrants that have already registered, but haven't been able to complete their profiles, don't worry - your profile is still there and the speed with which you registered will still be recognised. All we need you to do is log in and complete the rest of your profile. If you are having any difficulties, please don't hesitate to call me direct on 0416 278 807. (The best time to get me is between 5pm and 7pm weekdays as I'm not at the day job and dinner's not ready yet!)

Thank you so much to everyone for your patience and your fantastic words of support during what has been a very trying time. It's taken us a total of six months to get this far, and a few extra days won't hurt, and I'm very proud of the efforts of the web developers and of the many celebrants who have offered advice over the last three months.

Please also be aware that we will be making continual adjustments to the site particularly in the search areas such as locations, etc. Stay tuned for more details as we go.

Well, it's looks like we've made it this far!

You'll hopefully be seeing this page, as well as a working search engine, that forms the brave new world of Celebrante.

An e-mail has gone out to all of those celebrants who have expressed interest and then, over the weekend, I'll be sending further e-mails out to those that hadn't, as yet, replied to the original mailout back in January.

Once we've reached "critical mass" so that potential customers have someone to search for, we'll start the marketing campaign.

So, don't delay, let's get those profiles up and running as quickly as possible!
